[Yang frowns at the phone. It's several minutes before she replies, but she does give a complimentary 'brb' while she takes care of some other unrelated business.]

For some reason, something that only mildly pissed her off and figured she'd get over the next day is turning into a big deal, and she's not sure she likes it or even understands why. Is he really that upset that she hung up on him? There's no way she was the first one to ever do that.]

What do you mean a discussion he'd know how to start? And I didn't know how to explain it to you, not him, I already tried telling him about it. No dice. Like I said, I'll talk to him later, I just need to think some things over and worry about my job right now.

I may not know about the hair thing but I know about the "wouldn't do it for just anyone" part of the conversation and that is something you two need to talk about. Anything beyond that I'm not at liberty to discuss because, as stated, that's a conversation for the two of you.

Ugh, I wish I hadn't said that. It sounds so pushy now that I think about it. This whole thing is stupid, and I know, I overreacted. I'm sensitive about the hair.

I hired Mercury, became friends with Jaune, and have been here for three and a half years of Sun stealing my groceries and shampoo.

I literally would've died from lack of oxygen if I didn't learn to let some things go.

Because my shampoo is amazing and smells like apples. He's done it since... remember that block party I hosted the first time you were here?

That was when he started borrowing it. Without permission at first. He kept trying to get me to touch his tail and I was much less comfortable running my fingers through his fur back then, but since then he kept borrowing it so I just kept.. buying extra, eventually.

I'm not sure if him stealing my things is a tradition so much as a thing he's constantly done and I gave up on fighting and now all of our things belong to both of us in a manner of speaking? Not officially, but I think we're at that point where if I eat half a croissant he's welcome to finish the rest of it if it's in the fridge.

[Man...how dainty does a person have to be to eat only half of a croissant? Yang grins fondly and keeps texting.]

Sounds kind of nice, actually. That guy sure has a thing for apples.

[ Have you seen some of the croissants they sell nowadays? Sure, some are normal sized like the size of your palm. Others are bigger than your whole hand and stuffed with goodies! 8| ]

I mean he loves all fruit. I love apples.
I like to think his favorite is my fruit salad, which is one of the few things I'm genuinely good at making.

If he does I'll say no. I'm not going to get married knowing either one of us could disappear without any indication, then come back and not remember me. We'll figure it out- how to make it so we don't have to be scared of that. Then I'll consider it.

Once I figure out where to aim you, you'll be the first I call. I'm not the only one who wants to stay. I think most of the GSRF's scientists want to find a way home, but I think it might be the same answer to controlling whether we leave or not.

[Yang doesn't say anything one way or the other about staying or going. Honestly? She hasn't made up her mind. She misses her little sister and Blake an awful lot. But there are good people here she wouldn't otherwise get to know back home too. It's a toss-up.]

It'd be nice if we had the option, at least. Even better if we can move back and forth. I don't think I'll be holding my breath for evacuation opportunities any time soon, though.
